Lincoln Plaza London is part of the Curio Collection by Hilton. As the name would suggest, this rare hotel provides a taste of London, but not as you know it.
With a social conscience and a preference for local, ethically sourced produce, the hotel is also home to Food Store – a restaurant, cafe and grocer – a cocktail bar offering local brews and navy strength spirits called Jack Speak, and Mr Todiwala’s, a restaurant spearheaded by renowned chef, Cyrus Todiwala.
We joined the Lincoln Plaza team during the build phase of the project so we were lucky enough to follow the journey of the hotel and see it come to life. With hard hats on, we had a tour of the new site to really get to grips with the scale and exclusivity of the hotel which we used as inspiration for the design of the website.
As the branding for the hotel and individual outlets had been created by the hotel’s brand agency, it was our job to familiarise ourselves with each of the different brand identities and convert it for the digital landscape.
Content crafting and population
Once the website designs were approved and the development under way, we re-visited the hotel site for a content meeting as the Lincoln Plaza team asked us to help them out with copy for the site.
After a site tour and a Q&A with the marketing team, we produced copy for the site, conveying an individual tone of voice for each of venues and drawing on their individual characteristics.
Once the content was written and the photo shoot had been completed, we got to work on populating the site. This is where it all came together and we completed the site in time for the team’s pre-Christmas launch.
