Aliaxis Group are a global leader in the manufacturing and distribution of fluid handling solutions. Their extensive range of plastic pipes and fittings are used all over the globe.
Marley Plumbing & Drainage Solutions, Hunter Plastics, Alutec and Multikwik, part of the Aliaxis Group approached us to develop an intelligent framework that could be utilised for their individual brands, requirements and markets.
A framework for multiple brands
Our brief was to create a base platform that transformed the online presence of the four brands; Marley, Hunter, Alutec and Multikwik.
Using our Umbraco widget framework, we worked with the various stakeholders and individual marketing teams to scope requirements for the master build, ensuring the functionality suited all parties and the budget was used efficiently.
The planning phase of this project was key to its overall success. This included multiple workshops, user journey mapping and brainstorm sessions with the entire team.
Time is always of the essence and this project was no exception. All four sites had to be launched within a 12 month period so working in an agile fashion was the only way forward.
The team delivered bite sized pieces of the project for review and feedback, whilst moving onto the next development cycle. This enabled us to make best use of the time available and deliver all four websites on time and within budget.
