100 miles in a working day
By Frauke / Play /One team, one goal, 100 miles in a working day for Children in Need
Children in Need have dedicated themselves to make a real difference to the lives of children all across the UK. This year we wanted to be part of this amazing project. We started brainstorming to come up with something that we can do to raise money to support Children in Need this November. We all have something we’re good at, but we felt that we not only wanted to have fun with this project, we wanted to challenge ourselves and as the guys at Children in Need say ‘do our thing!’
So what’s our thing?
Most of us (with the exception of our very own Ironman George) might’ve skipped a workout or two this year, so we thought the best way to challenge us would be getting physical!
We’ll be setting up an exercise bike in our office and everyone from developers to account managers will get involved to reach the ambitious 100 mile mark by the end of the day. We’ll be starting on the dot at 9 o’clock in the morning and finishing at 5.30 in the afternoon – a whole working day of cycling! As we’re taking turns in the big cycle every member of the team will be able to put their effort and sweat (maybe even some tears) into this challenge – all for children to have a better shot at life.
Help us raise money!
You’ll be able to track our progress on 18th November, 2016 on our twitter account (twitter.com/hideoutuk) and we’d love you to cheer us on!
If you want to get involved and support our charity day you can donate on our Hideout BT MyDonate page.

We’re looking forward to supporting Children in Need or to put it in George’s words: Let’s play bikes!
